Big flavors, local vibes, and a brand-new place to gather are coming to life at Cascade Kitchens, South Lake Tahoe’s first-ever food hall. After months of anticipation, the Grand Opening is officially set for Saturday, August 2, 2025, and you’re invited to be part of the celebration!
Opening Day Details
- Location: 1030 Tata Lane, South Lake Tahoe
- Grand Opening Hours: 12 PM – 11 PM
- Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: 1 PM with the Tahoe Chamber
- Pet-Friendly Patio: Leashed pets welcome in outdoor dining areas (per El Dorado County guidelines)
Cascade Kitchens will continue regular hours following Opening Day:
Sunday–Thursday: 7 AM – 10 PM
Friday & Saturday: 7 AM – 11 PM
What to Expect on Day One
While the full vendor lineup is still being finalized (stay tuned!), The Thirsty Bear Bar will be open and ready to serve up local beer, curated wines, and the kind of laid-back Tahoe energy that invites you to stay awhile.
Plans are also in the works to feature live entertainment on Opening Day, adding a festive soundtrack to your first taste of the space. Whether you’re stopping by for a peek or planning to settle in for dinner and drinks, Opening Day is the perfect time to see what Cascade Kitchens is all about.
