🎉 Cascade Kitchens Celebrates Grand Opening 🎉

We’re officially open, Tahoe!

Cascade Kitchens proudly celebrated its Grand Opening on Saturday, August 2, with a community-wide event hosted in partnership with the Tahoe Chamber. From 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the venue was buzzing with excitement, delicious food, live music, and the unmistakable energy of neighbors coming together to welcome South Lake Tahoe’s very first food hall.

At the heart of the celebration was a ribbon cutting ceremony led by the Tahoe Chamber—symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in South Shore dining. With community leaders, small business owners, and local food lovers in attendance, the event marked a milestone in bringing Cascade’s vision to life: a year-round gathering place built by locals, for locals.

Guests were treated to tasty samples from our amazing culinary restaurants, each offering their own flavor-forward creations—from street tacos and noodles to elevated comfort food and specialty drinks. And of course, The Thirsty Bear bar kept spirits high with craft brews and regional pours.

Adding to the celebration was a lineup of live music, with performances from:

  • Trey Stone | 1:00–4:00 PM

  • Whiskey and Wolves | 7:00–10:00 PM

Plus, for our bike-friendly crowd, the Tahoe Bicycle Coalition provided complimentary bike valet services, making it easier than ever to ride in, relax, and enjoy the festivities.

What’s Next?

The Grand Opening may be over, but the doors are open and the food is hot! Cascade Kitchens will continue to serve up locally inspired meals, craft drinks, and community vibes seven days a week:
