Kids’ Movie Night Waiver & Release

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Kids’ Movie Night may involve typical activities such as sitting, moving around the event space, interacting with other children, and consuming snacks. I acknowledge that these activities carry some inherent risks, including minor injuries or allergic reactions. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my child.

2. Medical & Allergy Disclosure

I agree to inform event staff of any medical conditions, special needs, or allergies that may affect my child’s participation. I understand that snacks may be provided and that it is my responsibility to monitor what is appropriate for my child.

3. Release of Liability

On behalf of myself and my child, I release and hold harmless the event organizers, venue, employees, and volunteers from any liability, claims, or demands arising from my child’s participation, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

4. Supervision

I acknowledge that this is a group event and that staff and volunteers will provide general supervision only. This event is not a childcare service. I agree that I remain responsible for my child’s behavior and wellbeing.

5. Emergency Care Authorization

In the event of an emergency, I authorize event staff to seek medical attention for my child if I cannot be reached. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical expenses.
